One thing that Cornwall is famous for is the surf, and its great watching the surfers catch the waves when you visit any of the North Cornish beaches.
But wouldn't it be great not just to watch, but to have a go yourself?
The nearest beach to our caravans is Crantock Beach which is known for the long stretches of golden sands, but you can also sign up for a surfing lesson at the surf school called Big Green Surf School. You can hire wet-suits and boards and have a fun day practicing your new skills.
You can sign up as a maximum of 6 people or as a family for a lesson.
A 2 hour lesson is £35 per person which can either be beginners or advanced level.
A family data: (based on 4 people) is £150 for a lesson.
