If you have never been to St Ives, it's definitely worth a day trip. And catch the train if you can as the views are amazing.
I spent the day there in May and we had lots of fun. The views of st Ives are lovely.
And if you like shopping, there are lovely cobbled streets and shops where you can buy gifts and the most amazing Cornish goodies.
