Christmas in our caravans

Updated: May 24, 2021

Spending your Christmas break in a caravan may not be your first choice of location, but let me try and convince why it's not a bad idea....

Our caravans are super warm and cosy with central heating, double glazing, radiators in each room, an extra fire in the lounge and thick fur lounge blankets for when you just want to curl up on the sofa.

The kitchens are modern and well equipped for Christmas cooking, or nearby some lovely pubs and restaurants that provide Christmas lunch menus.

Both our caravans have smart TV's with 40inch/42inch screens and have Netflix etc if you can't find anything to watch on the normal channels. We also have fast WIFI in both which we provide in addition to the holiday park WIFI.

Take long walks along amazing and empty beaches, see winter sunsets and bask in the winter sunshine during the day. The climate is milder in Cornwall so the winters are never that harsh.

Here is a photo of my last Christmas eve having an ice cream at Mevagissey as it was so mild and sunny.

You can either book for just a few nights 23-27th December or book for 10 days and include New year aswell. If you have a larger family, there is the option of booking both our vans at the same time (sleeps 14). We will try and take all of the stress out of Christmas for you by decorating and putting up the tree, and supplying Christmas crackers and a lovely hamper of Cornish goodies.

There is lots to do for kids at Christmas time. There is a tunnel of lights in Charlestown, ice-skating and Christmas lights at the Eden project, visiting Santa at Heligan, or just chill out and enjoy a milkshake at beach front cafes.
